You must be at least 18 years old and the owner or authorized caretaker of any dog you register with us. Privacy: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our
Privacy Policy for details.
4. Registration and Health Requirements
Before your dog’s first visit, you must complete our online registration and dog profile, upload your dog’s current vaccination records, and keep a valid credit card on file.
Required vaccinations: All dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza vaccinations, and on flea and tick prevention. You are responsible for keeping your dog’s vaccinations current and providing updated records to K9 Nanni, LLC. We may refuse service to any dog whose records are missing or expired.
Health and behavior disclosures: You agree to tell us about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, injuries, recent illness, or behavioral history, including any history of biting, aggression, or anxiety, before services begin and whenever something changes. Please do not bring a dog that shows signs of contagious illness.
Boarding requirements: For boarding, you must provide your dog’s food, the food brand, specific feeding instructions, any medications with written instructions, and emergency contact information. Personal beds, blankets, bowls, and toys are not permitted in our facility. We provide K9 Nanni beds, blankets, and bowls for your dog’s stay.
5. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Payment
Scheduling: Services must be scheduled no later than 10:00 PM the day before. Services added after that deadline are subject to a late scheduling fee.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be made online by 10:00 PM the night before the scheduled service. Later cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.
Boarding deposits and cancellations: All boarding reservations require a 50% deposit, and the remaining balance is charged to your card on file on the last day of boarding. Boarding cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the reservation for your deposit to be applied as credit toward a future service. Boarding cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation are charged the full rate.
Packages: Packages are prepaid and do not begin until payment is received. All packages are non-refundable.
Payment: Individual services are charged at the end of each day. Online purchases made by credit card include a credit card surcharge; contact our office for alternative payment methods. By keeping a card on file, you authorize K9 Nanni to charge that card for services, deposits, and applicable fees.
Additional fees: Late payments, late pick-ups, and services on designated holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Presidents’ Day, and Easter) are subject to additional fees. Current fees are published on our website and in our client portal and may be updated from time to time.
6. Behavior, Safety, and Right to Refuse Service
The safety of every dog in our care comes first. We may evaluate any dog’s temperament and behavior before and during services. We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or discontinue services, including removing a dog from group play or asking you to pick up your dog early, if we believe the dog poses a risk to itself, other dogs, or our staff, shows signs of illness, or is not a good fit for our environment.
You are responsible for any injury, damage, or veterinary costs caused by your dog to other animals, people, or property.
7. Veterinary Care and Emergencies
If your dog becomes ill or injured while in our care, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you and your listed emergency contacts. If we cannot reach you, or if we believe immediate treatment is needed, you authorize K9 Nanni to obtain veterinary care for your dog, including transportation to a veterinarian of our choosing if your regular veterinarian is unavailable. You agree to pay all costs of that care and any related transportation.
8. Assumption of Risk
Even with attentive, trained supervision, group play, boarding, grooming, training, walks, and transportation involve inherent risks. These include scrapes, sprains, bites, and other injuries that can occur during play; contagious illnesses such as kennel cough, which can spread between dogs even when they are vaccinated; stress-related symptoms such as digestive upset; and minor nicks or skin irritation during grooming.
By using our services, you understand and accept these risks, and you agree that K9 Nanni is not liable for injury, illness, or loss resulting from them, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
9. Home Access, Dog Walking, and Transportation
For dog walking and playdate services, we require two working sets of keys to your home. Please confirm that the copies work on your lock(s). If you live in a building with a concierge, we are happy to pick up a key from your building and return it after service is completed. You agree to give us accurate access instructions and to tell us about any alarm systems, building rules, or other animals in the home. We will use reasonable care to safeguard your keys and follow your instructions.
Pick-up and drop-off transportation is available in select areas for an additional fee. Pick-up and drop-off windows are estimates and may change due to weather, traffic, or other conditions outside our control.
10. Photos, Videos, and Social Media
We love sharing our pack’s adventures. You grant K9 Nanni permission to photograph and video your dog while in our care and to use those images on our website, social media pages such as Instagram and Facebook, and marketing materials, without compensation. We do not publish your home address or account details with these images. If you would prefer that your dog not appear in our public posts, email k9nanni@gmail.com and we will honor your request going forward.

You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website and apps link to or rely on third-party services, such as our online booking and client portal provider, payment processors, app stores, Google, and social media platforms. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and K9 Nanni is not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not guarantee that our website or apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Training outcomes depend on many factors, including each dog’s temperament, history, and consistent practice at home, so specific results are not guaranteed.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, K9 Nanni, LLC and its owners, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services will not exceed the amount you paid K9 Nanni for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless K9 Nanni, LLC and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your violation of these Terms, inaccurate or incomplete information you provide about your dog, or injury or damage caused by your dog.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If a concern comes up, please contact us first; most issues can be resolved directly. Any legal action relating to these Terms or our services must be brought in the state courts located in Bergen County, New Jersey, or the federal courts for the District of New Jersey, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of these Terms. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of our website or services after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
18. General Terms
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any signed registration or service agreement, make up the entire agreement between you and K9 Nanni regarding their subject matter.
